The Program

Philippines-Australia Public Financial Management Program (PFMP) is a joint initiative of the Governments of Australia and the Philippines to improve the efficiency, accountability and transparency in the use of public funds in the Philippines to enable better service delivery. The program directly assists the national government to implement its comprehensive Public Financial Management (PFM) reform agenda that is laid out in the Philippine Public Financial Management Reform Roadmap: Towards Improved Accountability and Transparency.

The Position

Coffey International Development, the Service Provider of PFMP, is recruiting two (2) MS Access Application Development Consultants to provide financial management support to the Department of Education Financial Management System activity in the area of MS Access application. The successful candidate will strengthen and integrate the existing MS Access systems into a single application, which can accommodate the consolidation of data throughout the whole Department. This integration should provide full oversight and transparency over operations within the Department.

The Person

The suitable candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Development, or related fields. Applicants with Master’s Degree will have an advantage. Applicants should also have minimum of 5 years work experience in developing applications using MS Access and other development tools, including extensive knowledge and skills in the use of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) in MS Access. Knowledge of financial management systems will be an advantage.
